beyond your site’s complex history of slavery; training to help staff achieve a greater understanding of the difficult knowledge and navigate
surrounding complicated emotions; and tools to inventory current interpretations and how to evaluate new techniques.
The workshop will provide museum professionals with best practices for interpreting the difficult subject matter of slavery and the slave trade.
